Gran Turismo Sport is one of the most anticipated games of the year, at least for motorsport fans, and especially for hardcore sim racing lovers. So, there’s no other way to put it. It will be one of the most expected games of next year, cause that’s when it will finally be released. Furthermore, we have no exact date for the release, and that’s probably a good thing and also a precautionary measure by Sony, as they wouldn’t want to make the fan base too expectant, only to possibly delay it again and again like it happened with so many big games before. Sony say they have set the bar very high for themselves as well, and with GT Sport being the biggest and best Gran Turismo so far, they don’t want to rush it and they don’t want it to have any flaws whatsoever.
In the words of Kazunori Yamauchi, the brain behind the critically acclaimed and fan favorite series:
“As we approach our planned release date in November, we realize we need more time to perfect GT Sport, to which we’ve already dedicated so much effort to since announcing the title, and do not want to compromise the experience. While we cannot confirm a release date at this time, we are more committed than ever to making GT Sport the best Gran Turismo game to date.”
The master himself has also said that many key breathtaking new features of the upcoming game are yet to have been made public. That’s at least a small amount of good news we got in the post regarding the delay of GT Sport. Sony say that although they can’t confirm a certain release date for the game, they will continue to showcase it and let people experience it and the new, unknown features they have talked about, at all the upcoming gaming conventions.
Well, tough luck and good luck…
